چکیده

Crohn’s disease (CD), which can be localized in any part of the gastrointestinal tract, is a characterized by an irregular immune response to normal and/or abnormal microbial antigens. Recent studies show many extensive data about roles genetic and environmental factors, function, gut microbiota CD. Although, less invasive biomarkers are currently being developed, diagnosis still based on endoscopy histological evaluation biopsy samples. The most common symptoms diarrhea, abdominal pain, weight loss, fatigue. Despite improvements treatment methods last decade, there no definitive since etiology CD not known exactly. Therapeutic strategies focus reducing inflammation symptoms, maintaining clinical remission, improving quality life.

Fibromyalgia Syndrome: Etiology, Pathogenesis, Diagnosis, and Treatment

Fibromyalgia syndrome is mainly characterized by pain, fatigue, and sleep disruption. The etiology of fibromyalgia is still unclear: if central sensitization is considered to be the main mechanism involved, then many other factors, genetic, immunological, and hormonal, may play an important role. The diagnosis is typically clinical (there are no laboratory abnormalities) and the physician must ...

Etiology and Pathogenesis of Parkinson’s Disease

The pathological hallmarks of Parkinson’s disease (PD) are marked loss of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra pars compacta (SNc), which causes dopamine depletion in the striatum, and the presence of intracytoplasmic inclusions known as Lewy bodies in the remaining cells. It remains unclear why dopaminergic neuronal cell death and Lewy body formation occur in PD. The pathological chang...

Etiology and pathogenesis of Parkinson's disease.

The past 25 years have seen a major expansion of knowledge concerning the cause of Parkinson's disease provided by an understanding of environmental and genetic factors that underlie the loss of nigral dopaminergic neurons. Based on the actions of toxins, postmortem investigations, and gene defects responsible for familial Parkinson's disease, there is now a general consensus about the mechanis...
